Sometimes I find it really tough to be a blogger. I know, I know. Cue the eye rolls! But it is, and I will be the first one to tell you. First of all, it can get expensive! What’s more, it’s really not easy to think of new content on a weekly basis – especially content that I think people will actually read and enjoy. And if you think I’m lying or being spoiled, by all means, you try it! You’ll see.

I think the hardest part about blogging though, at least for me personally, is stepping outside of my comfort zone as far as what I wear and write. If you see me in my everyday life, you’ll know that I tend to sport a lot of neutrals. I rarely ever rock a bold color (unless on my lips) and I find it hard to shop for clothing outside of the four or five stores that I frequent regularly. Sometimes I get really caught off guard by this and I’ll think to myself, “I have to keep evolving. I have to offer variety.”

But then I remember the essence of this space and why I started it to begin with. While yes, a part of me does believe in evolving and trying to stay relevant, the other part of me wants everything that I put into this website to be authentic. You see a lot of neutrals, because that’s what I wear day-to-day. You read about my random ramblings because those are the genuine thoughts that I have. And it is my deepest desire that you’ll come to Thetique knowing that nothing is contrived. That I’ll always be 100% with you and that even though the trends may change, my heart and intentions will always remain the same. So without further adieu, here are some pictures of me in striped pants. Because I effing love these striped pants! And I’m going to continue to do and wear what I love.
