This past Sunday after church, Sam and I decided that we wanted to do something a bit out of the ordinary for us. So we called up two of our close friends and headed over to the Nashville Farmer’s Market! One of the things that I love most about this market is its duality. It’s part traditional open-air market, part indoor cultural experience! And when I say cultural experience, all I mean is that inside there are a ton of different dining options, ranging from Jamaican to Indian to Mexican. For a couple of self-titled foodies like ourselves, this was a lot of fun!

After we ate, we picked up an ice-cold lemonade and walked around the rest of the market. I always love looking at all of the different vendor’s booths and the goods they’re selling, as they’re ever-changing and never cease to surprise me! As the day began to wind down, I couldn’t go home without a bag of peaches from The Peach Truck. All in all, I’d say it was a successful day at the market – definitely out of the ordinary.
